Altus Financial is merging with respected Sydney advice practice Honan Partners, in a move that cements Altus’ reputation as one of Australia’s fastest-growing professional services businesses providing integrated financial advice to private clients.
The Macquarie Park based Honan Partners has been a fixture of Sydney’s advisory landscape for over 40 years, known for its uncompromising integrity, technical excellence and long-term client relationships. Honan brings a deeply loyal client base and specialist capability across tax, consulting, business and property advisory and private family office wealth services.
Scott Young, Managing Director of Altus Financial, said:
“Altus is building a modern growth orientated professional advice business that partners with aspiring business owners and supports wealthy families. These clients demand a business with the capability to deliver depth and breadth of expertise, whilst ensuring a relationship-driven client value proposition. The Honan merger accelerates our vision and employee ownership model. Honan’s culture of personalisation and high touch client service is a perfect match for ours. Together we know we will be stronger as one creating value for our clients and pathways for our people."
Neil Honan, Managing Partner of Honan Partners, added:
“Since 1984, we have been privileged to support business owners and families with their most important challenges. Joining Altus allows us to continue this work with greater resources, while remaining guided by the values that have shaped Honan Partners from the very start. It also opens up meaningful opportunities for our people, most of whom have been with us for many years. After a careful search for the right partner, we are pleased to have found one in Scott and the Altus team. We’re really excited by what we can do together.”
The Honan team have already joined the Altus journey and will continue to operate from the Macquarie Park premises working closely with and supported by Altus.
The transaction quickly follows the announcement in recent weeks of the merger between Altus and Fortunity, creating the largest and most experienced integrated private client financial advice business on the Central Coast of NSW.
